These days we are lingering more and more in bed and snoozing the alarm button, wishing it was Saturday. But oversleeping and running late should be no excuse to be pyjama-clad. Here are some tips that can help you on a “OMG I’m so late”-day.
1. Have your skin and hair products at hand
(bathroom or night table), so that you have them first when you wake up and you don’t have to spend those ten minutes finding the essentials: moisturizer, some blusher, eye pencil and mascara (lipsticks always on your bag just in case you remember on your way to work).
2. Hair accessories: have always some knot so that you can wear a tie or braid and avoid ironing your hair that day.
3. Go casual: do not waste time trying to pull off an outfit, go for the basic shirt and jeans, and choose a colourful cardigan
that can help the outfit.
4. Accessories: these will be your outfit saver for these kind of days. Go for the big sunglasses
! What’s more glamorous than a pair of oversized sunglasses? They will give you that chic look both on your face and on top of the head.
On this post I am wearing a casual outfit I could combine in five minutes. Pearl jeans give that kind of casual look combined with a beige shirt, but the ethnic cardigan
does all the work, just like the big sunglasses
, which I got in Dresslily
